VACUUM HARDEN – TEMPER – HARDNESS TESTING
The beginner package involves heat treating blades in a vacuum furnace to minimize scale, oxide and decarb from high temperature treatment. Following quench, blades are then tempered to desired hardness. Blades are then tested on the desired/appropriate scale of hardness and reported.
Each package in your order must contain only one material unless you have contacted Byington Blades and received approval for a multi-material package order.
